No day but today
or rather tonight
and tomorrow
all I can do is look forward
yet still keep sure feet
staid I must remain
be here and there
one in body and mind
other with heart and soul
wont be long until we become whole
it seems too natural almost
it always has
not an easy feeling to let go
it would seem a decade has proven
it's not so complicated
loving you
I will find truth in you
hard it may seem
and so it may be
I have few fears
none strong enough to shake my path
and I will cast my light in front of each step
lit aglow to ease the trials
and over the walls I will scale
to reach the highest tower
where my princess stays
and together we befriend a misunderstood dragon
keep with the persistence
and when the dust clears
from crumbling walls in the dusty halls
you will see us, and we will dance.
Simply be mine.
